Okay so we live in England and eat a lot of authentic Indian food in places where the local Asian communities eat and Ibbys Kitchen is the real deal! We ordered Paneer Karahi and Punjabi Choley, asking for both of them to be spicy, plus the Limbu Rice and Cheese Kulcha (with added green chillies). All of it was spot on with fresh ingredients and authentic flavours. Would recommend!!

Best Indian Restaurant in Sligo - Period !! We visited this place twice and loved everything about it. The interior is amazing and very vibrant.

The food was very tasty - one small feedback about food is to reduce the amount of oil 😅 One day we ordered paneer and other day we ordered Bhindi. Both the sabzis were tasty but toooo oily. Please reduce the oil 🙏

I want to specially thank the staff for being very kind and understanding with our baby. The staff were very nice and friendly.

I would highly recommend this place to all - do visit it once while you are in Sligo 😊✌️

★★★★★ A Gem by the River!

We had a lovely dinner at Ibbys Kitchen, the new Indian restaurant on Markievicz Road. The first thing you notice is the great view of the River Garavogue flowing by from your seat – a really nice touch.

The food was superb; fantastic quality and authentic taste. The interior is freshly renovated and modern, with nice (though compact) seating. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive. It's very reasonably priced for the quality you get.

Just a note that as it's new and popular, there can be a slightly longer wait for your food, but it's a sign it's made fresh! Very easy to get to via the city bus stop right outside. If driving, there's no direct parking but plenty of parking on nearby streets. Definitely worth a visit!A great new addition to Sligo! 👍

Absolutely loved my experience at Ibbys Kitchen! The food was incredible — full of flavour and beautifully prepared. As someone with a nut allergy, I really appreciated how accommodating and careful they were, even making dishes without nuts so I could enjoy everything stress-free.

The atmosphere was a solid 10/10, warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole visit. You can tell they really care about their customers. Can’t wait to come back!

I had the Moroccan chicken for my main and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The spices were just right really authentic and comforting. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the service was excellent too. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
